An enduring impact is an idea or thought that comes from the past.
Paper originated in Egypt in the form of papyrus.
It was used for writing documents, letters.
In Egypt it was for keeping records.
It first originated 4000 B.C.
Papyrus is a plant that grows along the banks of the Nile and provided the Egyptians with raw materials.
It is an enduring impact because we use paper today, which is basically the same thing as papyrus.
It was used over other materials becase it was portable and cold last longer.
